Devlog day 3


This day I mainly wanted to make a 3D character with working animations. With videos from Imphenzia I learned how to make a basic character and rigify it in Blender.

Afterwards I followed some basic animation tutorials and images to create a idle, running, sliding, jumping and falling animation. Then I added the animations to the character using a animator controller in Unity. I found that the blend tree option worked best for switching between the idle and running animation. 

It took some time to hook it all up correctly and set it up with the right pieces of code, but I was really glad with how it turned out in the end.
